Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to the AI Chat Saver browser extension (the “Extension”), its Free and Pro plans, and this website. “AI Chat Saver”, “we” and “us” mean the business that publishes the Extension. By installing or using the Extension you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.

1. Licence

We grant you a personal, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Extension on browsers you control, for your own personal or internal business use, under these Terms.

  • Free plan: free to use, with no time limit, for the features listed on the Pricing page.
  • Pro plan: when available, a paid subscription that unlocks the Pro features for as long as your subscription is active. A Pro licence key is for your own use and may not be shared, resold or published.

You may not copy, modify, sell, sublicense or distribute the Extension, or remove its notices, except as the law allows. We (and our licensors) keep all rights in the Extension that are not expressly granted to you. Open-source components included in the Extension are licensed under their own licences (for example the SIL Open Font License for the bundled fonts).

2. Your content and your accounts

  • The chats you save are yours. We do not receive them and claim no rights in them.
  • The Extension works with AI services you are signed in to (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and others). Your use of each AI service is governed by that service’s own terms. You are responsible for making sure that saving and exporting your chats is allowed for your account.
  • AI Chat Saver is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of the AI services it works with. Their names and logos are trademarks of their owners.
  • AI services can change at any time. When a site changes, saving from that site may stop working until the Extension is updated. We do not promise that any particular AI service will remain supported.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Extension to access accounts or chats that are not yours, or without permission;
  • use it to break the law or anyone else’s rights, or to break the terms of an AI service;
  • overload, attack or disrupt any AI service or our systems;
  • reverse engineer, crack or bypass the licensing of Pro, or share licence keys;
  • resell the Extension or offer it as part of a paid service without our written permission.

We may suspend or end a Pro licence that is used in breach of these Terms.

4. Pro subscriptions, billing and cancellation

When Pro is available, it is sold by Freemius, Inc. as our reseller and merchant of record. Freemius processes your payment, issues your licence key and handles taxes, invoices and refunds. Freemius’s own terms also apply to your purchase: https://freemius.com/terms/.

  • Plans: Pro is offered as a Monthly plan and a Yearly plan, at the prices shown on the Pricing page at the time you buy.
  • Renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
  • Cancellation: you can cancel at any time. Pro stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again.
  • Refunds: the Yearly plan has a 7-day refund: a full refund if you ask within 7 days of your first yearly payment. Monthly payments are not refunded, but you can cancel at any time. The Free plan has nothing to refund. Full details are in the Refund Policy.
  • Price changes: we may change prices for future billing periods. We will tell you before a change applies to your renewal, and you can cancel before it does.

Statutory consumer rights, where they apply, are not affected.

5. Updates and changes to the Extension

We may update the Extension to fix problems, keep up with AI services or add, change or remove features. Updates are delivered through the browser’s extension store.

6. No warranty

The Extension is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Extension will be error-free or uninterrupted, that it will save every chat or every part of a chat, or that it will keep working with any AI service. Keep your own backups of anything important.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, chats, profits, revenue or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Extension. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Extension is limited to the amount you paid us for Pro in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 10 if you have paid nothing. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits, so some of these may not apply to you.

8. Ending these Terms

You can stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it. We may end these Terms or your licence if you breach them. Sections 2, 6, 7 and 9 continue after these Terms end.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any dispute that cannot be settled informally will be handled by the competent courts of Nepal, except where the law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version on this page with a new “Last updated” date. If a change is significant we will give notice in the Extension or by email to Pro customers before it applies. Continuing to use the Extension after a change means you accept it.
